python-crypto software package provides cryptographic algorithms and protocols for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-crypto
python-crypto is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-crypto package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-crypto *
You will get with python-crypto package name, version, architecture and description in a table
